Stubaital mit meiner Mutter - Stubaital with mom

Haben per Zufall ein wunderschoenes Hotel in Mieders im Stubaital gefunden. Toller Spa-Bereich mit Schwimmbad, Whirlpool, Sauna, Dampfbad. Und sie bieten gefuehrte Wander- und Fahrradtouren an.
Just by accident we found a great hotel with a huge spa area in Mieders/Stubaital. They have a pool, whirlpool, sauna, steam bath... And they offer guided hiking and bike tours.Und da wir 2 getrennte Betten wollten, hat man uns gleich eine nette Suite mit schoenem Wohnbereich gegeben.
And since we needed two seperate beds, they gave us a nice suite.Blick vom Balkon.

Unterwegs mit Mutti - On the Road with Mom

Gestern haben wir (meine Mutter und ich) uns also auf den Weg gemacht. Erst mal nach Muenchen ins OEZ zum Shoppen, dann nach Diessen am Amersee, wo wir die Nacht bei Oli, meinem Patenkind verbracht haben. Er geht im November fuer 9 Monate nach Neuseeland, also letzte Gelegenheit seine Wohnung hier am Ammersee, kurz vor der Aufloesung noch mal zu sehen. Nun geht's weiter Richting Innsbruck, Suedtirol, vielleicht bis zum Gardasee.
Yesterday we (mom and me) started our trip. First to Munich, shopping at the OEZ, then to Diessen at the Ammersee. Here we spent the night with my godchild (her grandson) Oli. He's going to leave for New Zealand in November where he's staying for 9 months. So, last chance to see his nice appartement close to the Ammersee in the middle of the Bavarian mountains. Now we are starting direction Innsbruck, Suedtirol, perhaps all the way down to Lake Garda in Italy. Will keep you posted.

Bin gut angekommen. Die Fluege mit US Airways waren erstaunlicherweise sehr gut und die Verbindung ueber Phili ist prima. Nur zu empfehlen. Dann gleich Shopping (wie immer sehr erfolgreich ;-)) von Venice Beach Fitness-Klamotten bei Jutta, Fruehstueck mit Uli und dann zum Werner zum Faerben (bitter noetig) und Haare schneiden. Hier das Ergebnis:

Had a safe trip. The flights with US Airways were much better than expected and the connection via Phili worked out great. Then right away shopping (very successful ;-)) for fitness cloths at Venice Beach (thank you, Jutta), breakfast with my best friend Uli and then to Werner for hair color and cut. Here the result:

Nun kann's also auf gehn zum Maedelsabend mit Uli, Anette und Susanna bei meinem Liebligs-Griechen. Stellt schon mal ausreichend Retsina und Ouzo kalt. Und Jungs passt auf ;-)). Maedels on Tour. Morgen gibt's Fotos davon.
Now I am ready for our girls night out with Uli, Anette and Susanna. Will be at my favorite Greek restaurant. Put enough Ouzo and Retsina in the freezer. And boys take care. Girls on tour. Tomorrow I'll post pictures.

AC/DC Sept.09 in San Diego

Nun, da wir Judas Priest gesehen haben, auf in den Sunshine State Kalifornien, nach San Diego zu AC/DC. Aus dem Auto noch meinen Bruder angerufen und ihm volle Kanne "Hells Bells" vorgespielt. Mein Bruder waer so gern dabei gewesen. Und "Hells Bells" erzeugt bei mir, seit dem Pokal-Halbfinalspiel in Pauli, jedes mal auf's Neue Gaensehaut.
After we've seen Judas Priest, let's go to sunshine California, to San Diego, to see AC/DC. Talked to my brother on the way and had to play "Hells Bells" for hin. Oh, how much my brother would love to join! And since the football semifinals in Pauli, "Hells Bells" always gives me goose bumps.Die Jungs werden nie erwachsen. Schuljungen auf den Buehne, knallhartes Heavy Metal fuer die Ohren und die Halle tobt.
Those 'boys' will never grow up... Schoolboys on stage, heavy metal sound and everybody is on his feet.Geile Lichtshow...
great lightshow...... und hier kommt auch schon die Gaensehaut.

Der Trip hat sich 100%ig gelohnt, auch wenn ich die Show von Judas Priest noch etwas besser fand. Aber es hat ca. 2 Stunden gedauert, bis ich wieder richtig hoeren konnte. GEIL!

It really was worth the trip, even so I think that the show of Judas Priest was a bit better. But it took me 2 hours to get my full hearing back. GREAT STUFF!
